Oakland Team in winning Form

Cappo D’ro led a trio of Oakland Park bred horses successful over the weekend, when he effortlessly won the Magic Millions Handicap (2150m) at Ascot on Saturday.

Superbly rated out in front by Dan Staeck, Cappo D’ro was able to steal a break at the 400 meter mark and never looked like being beaten going to the line strongly to win by a Length and half.

Cappo D’ro has finished 2nd on seven occasions, but this victory was his 4th win from 22 career starts.

Meanwhile Ritualistic, which was recently transferred to Rod Brown at Esperance, won the 1100mt Caltex Australia Maiden (Alan Kennedy) on Friday 2 February.

Also Lite’n In My Veins, bred by Oakland Park and raced by our very good client and friend Reg Webb and his syndicate won at Morphetville on Saturday.

The horse is still trained by Aaron Purcell and was ridden by Zac Spain.

Congratulations to all our winning partners.
