All The Way Win for Sesswa

Sessions filly Sesswa brought up an all the way win for jockey Jarrod Noske in the Graham Morgan 70th Birthday Handicap over 1600m at Belmont on Saturday.

Perfectly rated by Noske, Sesswa travelled keenly through the middle stages, but Noske was able to steal a break on the turn, and that proved the winning move with the Oakland Park 3YO holding on to record her 4th career victory.

Sesswa was a gallant 2nd to stablemate Ihts Closing Inn, in the Belmont Oaks last start over 2000m and following the race trainer Danny Morton explained his decision to drop back in distance to the 1600m.

“To be honest I didn’t think we could get around Adam’s (Durrant) horse Ihts Closing Inn, so we decided to make a bit of a plan on where we can get prizemoney and here we are.”  Morton said.

Congratulations to our fellow owner Raff Barbaro, who is enjoying a purple patch at the moment also being an owner in Ihts Closing Inn.
