Another Oakland Park bred 2YO winner

Exciting to see He’s Gold win the 2YO Plate at Ascot on Saturday leading from the barriers to post. He’s Gold, by Oakland Park’s former stallion Rogano out of the General Nediymn mare Rue de Marengo, is another 2YO that was bred, born, raised and educated at Oakland Park.

Congratulations to our long-term clients and owners of He’s Gold and a big thank you for their confidence and support in entrusting their mare and progeny with us.

He’s Gold, trained by Ted Matinovich went into Saturday’s race off a last start second beaten 1.3 lengths down the straight 1000 metres at Pinjarra. The win again highlights the advantage of racing Westspeed horses as connections collected $76,600 in prizemoney and bonuses.

Connections have a yearling full brother in the paddock, named French Martini and their mare Rue de Marengo has been served by Oakland Park’s exciting young stallion Sessions.
