Congratulations to our partners in Bjorn to win making it two for two yesterday at Ascot.
Bjorn To Win
Fred Kersley-trained Bjorn To Love has made it two wins from two races after showing his class in the Crown Perth Handicap for three-year-olds over 1200m at Ascot.
Trialling well, Bjorn To Love proved too good in a trial at Belmont Park on March 17 and then went down to Pinjarra for his maiden race.
He debuted in a 1200m three-year-old maiden and proved too strong winning by a length and showing connection his class.
Kersley wasted no time bringing him to Ascot for this start where he jumped as favourite due to the Pinjarra performance.
Jockey Steven Parnham got Bjorn To Love out well from barrier six and was able to sit mid-field through the early running.
Approaching the top of the straight, Parnham still looked patient and was happy to wait for the right time to strike on the gelding.
Parnham made his move down the home straight and the class of Bjorn To Love was immediately evident as he was able to catch the leaders and then race clear with ease.
The gelding by Lonhro remains unbeaten and looks as though he’ll be able to step up in distance when trainer Fred Kersley feels it’s appropriate.
