Another Saturday winner for Oakland Park’s resident stallion Sessions with the authoritative win of the lightly raced 4YO gelding Comes A Time, out of the More Than Ready mare Let’s Go.
Having his first start for trainer Justin Warwick he went into the race off a good trial win. Warwick told Racing Radio post race that his track work didn’t instil much confidence, but it seems on race day he brings his best.
Comes A Time won his race start as a 2YO in a Belmont mid-week race. As a 3YO he was placed in town on three occasions to some smart gallopers in Laverrod, Cliffs Of Comfort and Tommy Blue. His record now stands at 8 starts for 2 wins and 3 placings.
His win Saturday suggests he is in for a good campaign.
