A super day of racing at Ascot tomorrow with six stakes races to be contested, including the $1 million Group 1 Kingston Town Classic.
We go to the races with a team of five runners – four of them chasing black type success.
Our 3YO Saxon gelding Saxophonist will run in the $100,000 Listed Aquanita Stakes over 1800 metres. He will have the services of champion Hong Kong based jockey Douglas Whyte.
We will be represented by two runners in the $150,000 Group 3 Sir Ernest Lee Steere Classic for – Pushin Shapes, a son of resident stallion Viscount and first up runner Lite’n In My Veins by Henrythenavigator.
French Champagne returns to the city coming off a last start win at Northam. She starts in he bench mark 66+ event over 1600 metres.
It is always exciting to have a runner in a Group 1 race – Oakland Park will be represented in the $1 million Group 1 Kingston Town Classic by Blackwood, our 3YO daughter of Blackfriars who will be ridden by Stephen Parnham.
