A good win by Oakland Park’s 3YO filly Daishio at Belmont yesterday. Over the 1000 metre scanter she has run a very good time of 57.84, coming from second last on the turn and clocking 33.31 over the last 600 metres.
Well ridden by progressive apprentice Jade Mc Naught, who stuck to the rail as the field straightened and was able to push her through along the fence to a comfortable victory against several in-from gallopers.
Daishio, is a daughter of Kuroshio, a son of champion stallion Exceed and Excel. Her win yesterday was her second from nine starts, which has also included four placings.
