Lite ‘n In My Veins will run over 1400 metres at Flemington on Emirates Stakes day. Now with Aaron Purcell, this talented galloper will be very competitive. He had no luck first up when running 5th beaten 2.3 lengths in a Listed race at Caulfield.
His second up record is strong having won three from four attempts.
Back at Ascot we have three runners on Saturday.
First up will be our exciting 3YO Rogano gelding In Love With Paris tackling the 3YO open race over 1200 metres. A winner at Ascot on debut he will be aiming to make it back to back wins.
Another two Rogano progeny compete against each other in the benchmark 62+ over 1600 metres. Roganella will be out to break his maiden status, having had five starts for three seconds and a third. He looks to be a promising type.
Rogue Empress will also be tempting to break her maiden status, having had six starts for three places. Her last start second at Ascot beaten a half a length to See Me Sizzle puts her well into this race.
Our final runner for the day will be the last start winner Pushin Shapes who will run in the $100,000 Listed Ascot Gold Cup. A last start winner, he has been such a consistent galloper for Oakland Park and partners.
