Four for Belmont return
Four runners for the opening of the Belmont season.
First up will be the unraced Ascendancy, a 2Y0 by Oakland Park’s resident stallion Sessions out of the Charge Forward mare, Perpendicular.
Ascendancy will be Sessions second runner from his first crop.
Cappo D’oro will go racing again after his terrific win in the 3200 metre Western Australian Cup in April. He drops back to 1600 metres and as always will be very competitive in a strong race.
The third runner for the day will be the 3YO filly Daishio, who meets a few smarts ones. She is not a big horse but is a real trier and will be very competitive.
Our last runner of the day is the Adam Durrant trained 3YO Not To Be Mist who will be looking to make it three wins this campaign and keep his unbeaten record in tack having won all three is his starts to date.
Good luck to our partners.
