Our promising 2YO Hit Tune is our only runner for Belmont on Saturday. His debut second place to the talented Dainty Tess was very encouraging, going down 0.8 of a length.
He is bred to be a race horse, being out of our brilliant race mare Jestatune, who won the Magic Millions WA 2YO Classic and Gimcrack Stakes and was placed in the Karrakatta Plate, WA Sires’ Produce Stakes and Group 1 Thousand Guineas at Caulfield.
Jestatune is also a half-sister to Ihtsahymn, who won the Group 1 Kingston Town Classic and Group 2 WA Guineas.
Hopefully it can be two in a week for the family, as Hit Tune’s half-sister Jestajingle won convincing on Wednesday at Belmont.
Good luck to our partners.
