Miss Vasari wins on debut for Oakland Park

A winning debut by the Oakland Park bred 3YO filly Miss Vasari at Pinjarra yesterday down the straight 1000 metres. It was an impressive effort given she trailed the field early and was very professional working through her gears to hit the line strongly running 33. 74 second for her last 600 metres with a margin of 1.7 lengths and another 2 lengths to third.

Trained by Dan Morton and ridden by leading jockey Chris Parnham, she went into the race fresh without a trial. It was a special win for our team given she is one of the last Rogano’s bred by Oakland park and we race the horse with friends Wes Cameron and his partner Dee Calderwood.
