Oakland Park Chasing more black type success

We go into Railway Stakes day with two three-year old’s chasing their first black type success.

Both contenders are by our young resident stallion Rogano.

The exciting last start winner Rogano will run in the Group 2 $500,000 WA Guineas. His last start could not be anymore impressive winning by 3.3 lengths running away from them.

Trained by Dan Morton and to be ridden by talented young jockey Chris Parnham will need some luck from barrier 15.

His record to date stands at 6 starts for a win and four places and has earned $96,300 in prize money and bonuses.

In Love With Paris will step out in the Listed $100,000 Placid Ark Stakes. He was a winner on debut and ran second beaten by a half a length at his only other start.

Trained by Fred Kersley he will be ridden by Champion Hong Kong based jockey Douglas Whyte.

Our other runner on the day will be the consistent galloper Pushin’ Shapes who will run in a benchmark 72 + over 1600 metres.

We will also be cheering home the Oakland Park bred Group 1 winning Ihtsahymn when he competes in the Listed $100,000 Tattersalls Cup over 2100 metres.

Already a winner of over $1.3 million in prize money and bonuses he looks set to run a real race coming off a last start third in the Listed Ascot Gold Cup going down 0.8 of a length to the talented Gatting.

Good luck to our partners.
