Oakland Park’s Pushin’ Shapes wins Narrogin Cup

Pushin’ Shapes by our former resident stallion Viscount, easily won the XXXX Gold Narrogin Cup over 1900 metres on Sunday.

Ridden well by jockey Joe Azzopardi, the Ben Peace trained gelding came from the second half of the field to win running away.

Pushin’ Shapes, is out of the Oakland Park mare Smooth Mover, making him a half-brother to multiple winners, Bombora, Swiss Watch, Danna Smoothie and Our Pie “O” My. Hopefully Smooth Mover will add her record of winners when the Rogano 3YO Pick Line returns to the race track in May and the unraced 2YO Bronze Idol, also by Rogano commences racing.

The win of Pushin’ Shapes takes his prize money and bonus tally to $263,700 from 20 starts.
