Rogano comes through at Kalgoorlie

From the Oakland Park stallion Rogano came 2 winners and a third at Kalgoorlie yesterday.

North Col (Rogano/Noreaster) ridden by Willy Pike in the Reece Plumbing Kalgoorlie Maiden 1400m won for trainer, Josh Brown.

Where’s Wally (Rogano/Beauty World) also trained by Josh Brown ran a very strong third in his first start back from a spell over 1300mt.  Connections were very pleased with his first up effort.

And Pushin’ Shapes (Viscount/Smooth Mover) bought his total prize money winnings to nearly $450,000 with a stirring win in the Coolgardie Cup at the same meeting in Kalgoorlie.

Ridden by Joseph Azzopardi and trained by Pearce Racing, Pushin’ Shapes carrying the top weight of 59kg, challenged Gloryland (54kg) down the straight and then finished off the run comfortably despite the narrow win of a neck.

Congratulations to our co-owners and trainers, Daniel and Ben Pearce.  A wonderful win.

Templeman, another Rogano out of the mare Spritzig also had an exciting win by a nostril in the Taps Industries handicap over 1200m.

In what must have been the closest finish of the day Templeman (Jordan Turner) beat It’s Dynamite by a nose followed by Disco Metal a short half head and Foxy Royal a head!
