Sandalwood’s Super Saturday and Rogan Scent Smells the Roses on Valentine’s Day!

Rogano 4YO gelding Sandalwood has brought his third career victory at Magic Millions day at Pinjarra on the weekend.

Sent out second elect in G Force Printing Handicap, a 66 benchmark 2000m race, Sandalwood (Rogano/Karriwood) sat back and moved forward from the 800m to take the lead at 200m from home.

Sandalwood was then challenged by the heavily backed At The Ready, but quickly lifted and was very dominant at the finish.

Trained by Fred Kersley and ridden well by Lucy Warwick, this was her second consecutive win on Sandalwood.

A wonderful result for a happy group of long time owners who were all there at Pinjarra with their families to enjoy the moment.

Then on Valentines Day at Ascot, a nice win for Rogan Scent (Rogano/Scenius) in the Crown Towers Handicap over 1600m.

Trained by Fred Kersley and ridden by Daniel Staeck, a win which will please our fellow owners Reg Webb and partners.

Sandalwood and Rogan Scent are of course both by the Oakland Park stallion Rogano, a full brother to Not A Single Doubt.
