Sapphire Lets Rip Off A Break

Oakland Park 3YO Sapphire Street has once again showed her liking to racing fresh with last to first victory at Ascot on Saturday.

The Necklet filly was allowed to drop out to last by jockey Chris Parnham, and with a suitable pace out front, he stormed down the outside for a narrow victory.

Following the victory trainer Dan Morton explained “We actually sent her back to the farm for a little bit of a break in between so she’s had a little break in between the last one and this one,  but she’s she’s super effective when the race pattern works for her which it did today”.

It’s the 3rd career victory for Sapphire Street, all coming either first up or a short break.

Congratulations to our connections.
