Sessions serves to serve again in WA

Figures released by the Australian Stud Book this week confirmed Oakland Park Stud resident Sessions (Lonhro) was the most popular sire in Western Australia during the 2020 covering season.

Sessions topped the list with a book of 120 mares to finish in front of Scenic Lodge sire Universal Ruler (106) who had been our busiest stallion in 2018 and 2019.

A Top 10 finish on the 2019-20 Australian second-season sires’ premiership and a 30% fee reduction were instrumental in propelling him to the top of the table.

He was also a runaway winner for the WA second-season title with Massimo the chief earner after Listed victories the Placid Ark Stakes and Farnley Quality.
