As has been the case with all owners of the promising Sessions stock, Craig Fox and his racing partners Linda and Tony Stecko have been patient.
So it was with great pleasure that we watched Comes A Time racing to a win at Belmont today after what was a very promising trial 10 days ago.
Trained by Brett Wilkinson and ridden by Shaun O’Donnell it was a narrow win over Holy Ghost but the winning pair were over 3 ½ lengths in front of the rest of the quality mid week field.
Comes A Time is the last foal of Craig’s mare Let’s Go and we wish one of our favourite owners the best of luck going forward with him.
Reports coming in from trainers of the Sessions horses, many of which are close to racing, are incredibly positive and as Brett suggests for Comes A Time, the stock will only improve with age and the opportunity to run over a little more distance.
Sessions will stand again this season at Oakland Park Stud for a fee of $5500 inclusive of GST.
Sessions is highly fertile and bookings of multiple or stakes mares will attract a reduced fee.
Neville can be contacted on 0417 200 097 if you would like to discuss the suitability of your mare/mares for Sessions.
