The Champagne was flowing at Belmont

Congratulations to our partners with the very tough win of Chill The Champers on debut at Belmont on Saturday. She was challenged late but dug deep to prevail. Trained by master horseman Fred Kersley and ridden well by apprentice Randy Tan.

She is a 2Y0 filly by Artie Schiller out of the Oakland Park bred mare Champagne Amore (Xaar). She is third foal to race for Champagne Amore with all three being winners.

Champagne Amore is a half-sister to Oakland Park’s champion galloper Marasco, a winner of 16 races (12 at stakes level) and $1.7 million in prize money.

As a Westspeed horse, her win has earned connections $65,900 in prize money and bonus.
