The consistent 5YO Cappo D’Oro will step up another 300 metres tomorrow at Ascot when he competes in the benchmark 62+ over 2100 metres Already a winner this campaign from three starts, he should go very close again.
Vexilloid, a 3YO filly by resident stallion Rogano will have her third life time start, and second start this campaign when she tackles the open 3YO event over 1500 metres. First up she was beaten 2.5 lengths to Shackleton who looks to be a very progressive galloper.
Sandalwood goes around in the “get out stakes” (the last) at Ascot tomorrow. The Rogano 4YO gelding ran well first up at Pinjarra earlier this month running 3rd beaten 1.3 lengths. He goes up 400 metres for this assignment and should be competitive.
Good luck to our partners.
