We go into tomorrow’s Ascot meeting with anticipation of good performances from our three runners on the day.
First up will be our Helmet 2YO gelding Beethoven, who was impressive winning on debut a fortnight ago. He meets a small field in this open handicap and should again run well.
We couldn’t be happier with Cappo D’Oro’s Perth Cup lead up preparation. He his place in the $100,000 Listed ATA Stakes over 2200 metres. He goes into the race off a last start win in the Listed Towton Stakes and the start before that a third in the Group 3 R.J. Peters Stakes.
Our final runner of the day will be the Rogano 4YO gelding In Love With Paris. After notching up three seconds places this campaign (including the Listed Carbine Stakes), he put in a shocker last start. Trainer Fred Kersley took him back to the trials where he ran well running second behind the very smart Misty Metal. We expect him to bounce back tomorrow.
Good luck to all our partners.
