Our resident stallion Rogano will be represented by three runners on Saturday at Ascot. All three trained by Fred Kersley.
We have the unraced Hit Tune ready to open his racing career. He is out of the quality race mare Jestertune, a half-sister to our group 1 winning Ihtsahymn.
Dananarama will have her second start, having run a first up sixth at Pinjarra on debut. Dananarama is a half – sister to our winning race mare Busimiss.
The third runner is the Tilden Park owned Oregon Bronze, a filly by the Scenic mare Dark Scene. She goes into the race with good trial form.
Oakland Park’s other runner for the day is the talented last start winner North Ridge, who will go around in the Diggers’ Cup over 1800 metres. North Ridge has been a very consistent galloper having had 13 starts for 6 wins, 3 seconds, 1 third and has clocked up $331,850 in prize money and bonuses.
