Top Of The Pops 3 in a row

Oakland Park 2YO Top Of The Pops has brought up a hat-trick of wins to start his career, stepping up to win over 1400m at Belmont Park on Saturday.

The Dan Morton trained son of Spirit Of Boom, started slowly once again with rider Chris Parnham happy to bide his time at the rear of the field.

Approaching the Belmont straight, Parnham brought Top Of The Pops off the fence to put himself into the race and once he got clear air he let down for yet another impressive win.

Top Of The Pops dam is Oakland Park’s Molto Allegro (Fast ‘N’ Famous) who is half-sister to Jukebox (Snitzel) who won a RL Inglis 2YO Premier and a G3 Vain Stakes at Caulfield.

He is also a younger half-brother to the Morton-trained LR Perth Stakes winner Beethoven continuing a successful line for stable and Oakland Park.

Congratulations to all connections.
